The Gal Behind the Care

Caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’ve spent years learning how to support pets thoughtfully and responsibly through 14 years of hands-on experience (as a sitter and pet parent), ongoing independent research, and volunteer education with PAWS Chicago.

My experience spans many different species, from dogs and cats to small, exotic, and aquatic companions with their own unique needs.

I’m especially attuned to animals who need a little extra patience or care. Even anxious dogs often feel at ease with me, thanks to an approach that prioritizes trust, routine, and comfort. I take the time to meet pets where they are, never rushing care or forcing interactions.

I’ve also published a Betta Fish Care Guide, reflecting my commitment to understanding and sharing accurate, species-specific care. Above all, I believe every animal deserves to be treated with dignity, gentleness, and respect, whether they have tails, scales, fur or feathers.
